Faith In The Dock is a project run by local people to look at faith issues that arise as we live, work and study in the Royal Docks.
The Royal Docks is an extraordinary place with a rich history and unique challenges and potential. It covers an area of London that has experienced tremendous change and regeneration Around 10 years ago the first ‘urban village’ was developed in the area south of Victoria Dock, ‘Britannia Village’.
In 2008 Dave and Sally Mann moved into the area to continue building a church and strengthening community in the Royal Docks. Dave works part-time as a Community Developer at Britannia Village Hall, and is Chair of Governors at BV Primary School and Oasis Academy Silvertown. Sally is a senior lecturer in Greenwich University and works to co-ordinate the worshipping community of Royal Docks Community Church.
