1)Sum yourself up in 5 words

Loyal, artistic, truth-loving, prayerful, growing-in-confidence

2)Which aspect of church life are you responsible to steer?

Prayer. I share this with Simon. Our role is to encourage the church to be a praying community and make sure people wanting prayer in our services get opportunities for this that are helpful to them. My dream is to be a church where people grow in their experience of God’s love and able to really love others

3)Why did you agree to lead this area?

Because it matters a lot to me and I am really excited when we speak to God and he answers. It’s amazing that God lets us to co-work with him. The creator of universe lets me come alongside him and make things change and put things right!

4)Which 5 words or phrases sum up the kind of church you want to see here in the Royal Docks

Praying, full of hope, joyful, embracing, loving

5)What’s your ‘real job’? What do you do in the working week?

I am a physiotherapist working in the NHS with adults with neurological conditions in their own homes. I’m also involved in ‘Eastgate School of Supernatural  Life’ which is challenging me to change the way I think in order to see and take part in bringing heaven on earth, just like Jesus promises.

6)What’s the best thing about life in the Royal Docks?

I bought a house here 17 years ago. It’s been wonderful to see God answering prayer over that time that has transformed and bought hope to the area.
